for ls6 or ls1? ls1 is 78 right is ls6 bigger or is it the same?

I think they are the same size.. as using a LS6 intake on a LS1, everything is able to transfer over... Throttle body included.

A Ported and Polished 78mm should be able to flow enough for 450+HP as is the LS6 intake (or more).

Is it possible to open up the manifold 3 more mm to match the TB?

according to everything i have ever seen the t/b is a 75mm and the intake opening is a 75mm, accufab sells a 75 to give you an appearance option for the stock size, the fast 78mm is an upgrade over the stock size, according to GM book i just looked it up in it is 75mm for t/b and intake manifold
