Default Need you experience with Moser install...

Anything special I need to know when installing a Moser 12 bolt besides what the directions says?

Stuff like seals, bearings, sway bar, brake lines etc.

Just looking for some tips or past experience before I go at it.

Well, my thread, "Moser 12 bolt and BMR suspension parts install experience", documents my experience. Biggest problem was getting the seals in without trashing them and figuring out how to get the u-joints out.

Love it. I have a small whine from the 3.73 gears but the rear is solid. You can see the power I put down! My rear seal is leaking where the DS goes into the rear-end. Has leaked from almost day 1. I will get it fixed soon.

I read your post critter...what did you do about the sway bars and did you just zip tie the brake lines?

you will need either 3" or 3.5" u-bolts to bolt the sway bar and yes you can just zip tie the brake lines. its real easy. the way you take out the old rear is the same way you put the new rea in. nothing special or hard about the job
