1 or 2 regulators with dual fuel pumps
I'm trying to set up a fuel system with and in-tank and aux pump that comes on later with a TPS switch. My question was whether I would need to use 2 pressure regulators or could I just get away using 1?
Also when the second pump kicks on wouldn't it increase the fuel pressure and affect the tuning of the car?

2 regulators is not a good way to control things as they can never be set identically. This is a poor engineering practice & should be avoided.
Run 1 good regulator & stage the second pump to come on late enough so that the regulator is not overloaded, causing a pressure spike. Use an RPM switch in conjunction with the TPS switch so you do not bring it on too early, or base it off of boost if you have forced induction.
