Ran 9.80 @ 142 with a stock LS6 bottom end
While at the LSX shootout this weekend, I wound up braking out of the 10.0 class with a 9.80 @ 142, with a stock LS6, blower cam, and ECS Paxton kit. Wound up being the fastest qualifier of the shootout, along with 2nd and 3rd car being Paxton powered as well.
It was a ridiculously 100* hot event, but it was a lot of fun, and I was very pleased with the consistent runs. All in all a well ran event.

Yes auto conversion. No other way to be competitive in the index classes, well a trans brake would help, but I made due with crappy light cutting.
the car is full weight 3375 with me and a quarter tank, spent a few days trying to dial it in to a 10.0, but continued to break out. Went home on Thursday with a 9.92 @ 138, qualified with a 9.80 @ 142 on Saturday, won a double break out Sunday to a 9.90 @ 139, and one more time to send me packin' to a 9.96 @ 128 on the brakes hard. Although I wasn't too disappointed, the car ran great and whether was so hot that I couldn't wait to go home.
I'm sure the NMCA event is video tapped, I'll see if I can find a video of it. Car #265
full mod list;
ET Street/skinnys on CCW's
RPM 4l60 level 5, 3600 stall Yank, stock rear
ECS Paxton and blower cam kit 9-10lbs boost
line lock
ALky kit, single nozzle
Dewitts radiator
HID lights and seat covers.
Everything else is stock, untouched. Thanks!
