Default stock time for Auto WS6...

i was wondering what kind of 1/4 mile time a stock WS6 runs... since i just took mine the the track... 13.430@ 103.02 R/T .154, 60' 2.027 that was my best run of the day. and i was wondering with just a SLP LM and Lid would i break in to the 12's??

I doubt it'd break you into the 12's with just that, add long tubes and an ORY or x and you'll be in the 12's though.
Intake/LM will probably put you at 13.0-13.1

Those add-ons with a tune and good traction (read: 1.9x 60 foot times) could get you in the 12s with good air.

My Formula clicked off a 12.93 at 107 mph with a lid, catback, FTRA and ported MAF ends without a tune, A4 with 3.23 gears in mineshaft -1000 DA air.

Is it really? I honestly didn't know what they ran stock. Mine's an 97 WS6 and stock it ran 13.67. I thought an LS would be way faster than me.

Then again, our track is at 12ft above sea level. Gotta consider that too.

My Formula ran 13.47 at 103.5 mph stock in probably 2000-2500 DA August summer air. So his time isn't far off IMHO. 13.67 stock is a kick *** run for a stock LT1 but the DA obviously helps!

Just ran my time in sig Wed with lid only. I am doing a 160 stat and may do tires/wheels. I was also tapping the rev limiter which cost me a little. I get those things addressed and I know it will be high 12's.

i was 13.5@105 stock and LT's,lid, true dual exhaust only netted me 13.0@108 though DA was horrible. calcs have me runnig 12.7@110 in perfect conditions. and my torq management was killing me off the line. go with some pacesetter headers, exaust, lid you will be in the 12's i belive

With a K&N Filter I ran 12.85 @111.22 Good track, good air, and finally learned to shift. 60' was still a shitty 2.01. Had the jack/spare out, can't remember if I had the rear seats out at that time, don't think I did, but I don't remember.

Im not sure how often you see stock auto's making it into the 12's though...

noone has hit 12's stock in a auto. though there is a guy who ran a 12.8 with just a lid. though not stock id like to see him run with the stock on and see what he does.

i belive 13.2 from a camaro a4 was the fastest auto ls1? anything faster than that and i would doubt how stock they really are.

1000 DA, hell, thats not mine shaft air, race down in Texas international speedway in Baytown, the DA will sometimes dip below sea level, now thats Mine shaft air.

Let me rephrase that, Baytown is below sea level, so the DA will sometimes be well under that, i've heard of it dropping as low as 800 DA Below sea level, now thats kick *** air.

Add a lid and a converter and you'll be running mid 12s with some sticky tires.
