Default Lifter Guide Drill Mod - Oil Drain back Alternative???

I was patrolling the virtual world and ran across this selection of part numbers for the LSx lifter guide holders. If you look at the LGP-365, I am wondering if this holder would help with oil drain back from the head similar to the modification done by drilling the holder (see where I circled in red). Granted the holder can still fill with oil, but it seems to me drain back would be much improved with this tray at higher RPM. Not sure on interchangeability though.

for oil drain i always drill 1/2" holes in the side of the holders,it is the best way,
