2001 Z06 fuel pump....
Hey guys. I have an 01 Z06 and am wondering what the limit of the fuel pump is. Here is what my plans are for the car....
Halltech CAI
ARH Longtubes
42lb injectors
dry shot - only running a 100shot.... For now.
I am hoping for around 380rwhp on motor and around 480rwhp or so on the spray. Do you think with the injectors, I will be okay with the stock fuel pump?
What are they rated at stock?

As I said the stock pump will handle a 100hp shot from either a wet or dry kit. Many people are doing this without a single problem as long as the car is tuned for the nitrous shot. If you do a dry kit and ran more than a 75hp shot, upgraded injectors is a must.

There are 2 pumps on all C5s. One a high pressure pump used to feed the engine and the other is a non-mechanical pump that continually refills the driver's side tank. The main fuel pump doesn't draw fuel out of the passenger side tank.

That is incorrect. There is no second pump in the passenger side tank. Fuel is draw from the passenger tank to the drivers side tank via a siphon affect from the return line of the fuel pressure regulator. A line from the passenger tank Ys into the return line. Fuel flowing back to the driver side tank pulls fuel over from the passenger. If the driver's side tank is full, then the returning fuel spills over to the passenger tank via the top crossover tub.

I thought there was two pumps also? Maybe only certain years? Like the 97/98 had the 2nd pump?
Anyway you should be fine as our pumps are considered good to about 500/550hp The injectors 42's will good for your overall shot. there a couple things you can do to extend the stock systems' capability. The hot wire trick, and/or a BAP will help. In my personal web site is a couple write ups on fuel system upgrades. Also, the math for sizing fuel needs and injector needs.
