Default Gen III Wyllis Jeep Swap?

I'm picking up an old CJ-2 Wyllis Jeep and was thinking about putting a 6.0 liter truck motor in it. Anybody think it would fit well? I've seen a regular 350 swap and it was a really tight fit.

Good luck with the swap. Send some pics as it moves along. My LS6 TJ is great.

Default cj2....6.0

These engines are a couple inches shorter overall than the old school small blocks. You can also play with different accessory drive depths and pulleys. Fuel Injected or carb? It may be possible to get it in without cutting the hood if you use an ls2 fuel injection manifold. (This is a low hood right?)Carb set ups are pretty tall. Sound like a great project, keep posting
