Fuel pump problems

Fuel pump problems I have been trying to Hook my pump up in my 80 trans am and it just keeps blowing fuel lines apart when I start it, just have it hooked straight up so I can hear my car run. It's like it's putting out too much pressure or something.
What's the correct way to hook this **** up? I don't want to get my tank and everything set up and still have it blowing apart.

The truck intake does have a regulator built right into the stock fuel rails, I'm not sure exactly what you mean by "hooked straight up" maybe some pictures might help to diagnose your problem. Where is it blowing the lines apart?
does intake have 1 or 2 fuel lined on it if its 1 it doesnt have a regulator. dont remember what year but they started putting regulator in the tank. if its 2 you have regulator on rail

There is only one line going to the rails but there is one coming off the front of the intake, I thought that was the return.. The Vette filter/regulator is what I need right? They are only $20 so I am going to go ahead and get one.
