402 + TFS235s...
Having a hard time finding combo w/these heads. Anybody know what I should expect from a 402 LS2 + TFS235s w/236-240-112-0? This combo will be done in less than 2 weeks and I will report results, but just curious what most think its worth in power. Intake = FAST 90 + LS2 90 ported by Vengeance.
I've seen numbers range from 460-600rwhp. I was hoping to get in to the
low 500's at least.

Vengeance has made 540+ RWHP with the TFS 225's on 402's, and I had a shop in FL pull 225's off a 402 and install 235's and pick up over 10 RWHP and over 10 RWTQ back to back, so you should be fine. Stepping up the headers to 1 7/8" will help.
I have a customer with a 402 and TFS 235's that ran 8's in the quarter with a Fast 90, hyd roller cam and 2 stages of nitrous, but that's probably not what your looking for

We did a 402 with TFS 225's the cam was a 24X-25X on a 114 LSA. The car had a TH400 with a 5K stall and 12 bolt . It made around 515 rwhp SAE !!!! This was done through mufflers too and 1'' 7/8" QTP's .

How is this monster cammed?
My goal is to gain over 100 average engine hp from my old combo to my new one. I figure the old engine was making 475fwhp. At 575fwhp in my car, that would put me around 500rwhp, solid in 10's, and close to 130mph through 1/4.
If the car runs hard w/the cam I have chosen, then I will step it up again and see what happens. Based on what I'm reading, some of you are experiencing great performance with much larger cams. Looked at Borlan exhausts last night. Whew. $1600 replacement.

A friend with a 416ci setup, TFS 235's, ported FAST90/90, 1 7/8" headers, dual 3" into a single 3.5" cat then 3.5" all the way back to an e-cutout, T56, IRS Ford 8.8" rear made 530rwhp and 500rwtq running a small 235/235 115LSA cam! This is in a 2850lb FD RX-7. It scoots.

ITS ALIVE!!!!!!!!
I set up the tuning to SD mode and started updating the VE table w/RTACS/Road Runner. We initially used a load bearing dyno to update as many cells as we could, then I took it for a highway trip about 10 miles to cool it down.
Its got a nice chop to the idle, good oil pressure, and is quieter under the hood than my stock 346 block w/respect to valves and engine noise. I have not got on it as I'm setting up a few tuning params first, but the engine seems to have A LOT of torque in any gear.
Should have it tuned, dynoed and reports by next week. stay tuned...

Thanks. I got to the track last week in the nasty heat and humidity with a DA of over 3,000ft and ran 10.76@130.88 with a 1.73 60ft in street trim, I ran almost 105 in the 1/8th with heavy rims on DR's. I am expecting to see 9.9@137 with my cam and intake change, a drag pack, and good weather.
