Direct Port Camaro, Loose At The Track! HIGH RES!
Not sure on the story with this car. Had a huge Vengance Racing banner across the rear window. All the crew guys were either wearing Vengance Racing shirts, or LSX Shootout shirts. Dont know whether this was a shop car, customer car, partial sponsorship or just what. Car had some nice parts on it, everything from all tubular suspension to the muliple stage direct port nitrous setup. First pass the car ran on the motor, didnt make a very clean pass. Next run, they came out on the bottle. Thats the run the first series, and close up, shots came from. After 400' feet out, car blew the tires off and got pretty loose. Driver made an awesome recovery. Last run, another nitrous pass. I happened to be standing around the 400' mark, with camera in hand. Car got terrible loose again. Turned towards the near wall, corrected and went towards the far wall, corrected again to the center. Ended up in the opposite lane. I dont know whether he was dropping oil or water, and getting the tires wet, or just overpowering the track. Either way, impressive car, scary momments and some great driving.
Comments are always welcome. Second set of the Camaro arent great shots, they were taken from pretty far away.

After looking a little closer, check out the fourth pic from the bottom. Looks like water coming out the fenderwell. They were working on adding water into the radiator after each pass. I think it dropped a coolant line.

Nice pics!!!! We did build that car for a customer in Tennessee.... LSX block with a dual stage kit. Talked to the customer this morning. He told us it went a 6.00@118.9 on a 1.43 60 on nitrous in the 1/8. Then the next pass it blew off a radiator hose and spit water all over the place. Coolant hose should be fixed and they will be getting some more shake down runs in the coming weeks.
FWIW, this was the FIRST time the customer has sat in his car. Big props for almost hitting 5s in the 1/8 first time out!!!!

That is definitely the car Ron, it had Tennessee tags on the car. Looked to be a plenty streetable car too, especially for the times it ran, and times it's capable of running. I didnt get too close to the car, as the only time the hood was up was then they were working on the car. Looked like it still had power steering!

Power steering/power windows/Heat... Only thing its missing is AC and that was due to space....
Pump gas motor. Built to be street driven.
You will be seeing more from this car soon I have driven the car to a 9.16 already before giving it back to the customer... Should go 8s on pump gas after some seat time/minor adjustments.
TS6, Possible....Wouldnt make much sense though as I have ran it through the 1/4 with no issues and this was only 1/8 mile... Im thinking it has more to do with the 100,000 mile OEM Hose clamps on the water hoses... OOPS!!!!
