Default 79-85 Rx7?

Anyone stick a LS motor in one of these yet? I searched and didn't come up with anything.

You can actually afford that year, and I like the way they look and handle. Just wondering if its not already been done for some drastic reason.

I had reseached this also, I have a 79' that has been sitting and needing a new engine. I know you can get a SBC in there and with a little more work, a Gen III / IV engine.

There are a few vendors that offer kits or has information
Jagsthatruns
Grannys Speed Shop
Hinson

You can also check the V8RX7Forum.

The only reason I have not started one is that I am in California... and I am reseaching the SMOG requirements and swap information 1st.

Thanks for pointing me towards someone that is doing one.
Yeah I suppose if I had checked one of those vendors I could tell if they had a kit or not.
Well guess that answers my question if someone is doing one, and that other people are also thinking about doing the same.

The LSX in those cars are harder because of the oil pan.

Think I read that somewhere.
Would be a cool swap. There is a guy on the V8RX7 forum that has one done.
