Default quick disconnect broken

The plastic ring on my hydraulic line is broken. Anyone have any ideas on how I can get the master free from the slave?

Thanks for your help.

The line is held into the master with a pin; you need a punch to pop it out. However an easier solution is out there. Since you can't buy the line by itself (thus you can't get the quick disconnect separately either) someone (do a search) found a 'help' kit at autozone that contains the part you need. I'll see if I can find it...

Found it:

"had the same problem a while back. just go to autozone and ask for part #74016. it'll be a 6 pack of clutch/brake quick disconnect bushings in red packaging with "HELP!" written on the front. cost like 6 bucks i think. hope this helps."

You can get a packet of new plastic pieces in the HELP!!! section at Advance Auto Parts. They come in a pack with a variety of sizes.
