Default Alarm self arms

I know the title sound rather odd, but that is what is going on. As soon as the doors are closed the alarm will arm itself. The doors don't lock nor does the horn honk like the alarm is being set via the remote. If you try to arm the alarm thriough the remote the lights on the car will light up but won't honk twice, as if the alarm was already set.If the doors are opened the alarm start going off.
I had a problem with the alarm a while back going off at random come to find out that it was the shock sensor(replaced 3 months ago)
This problem just started to happen today at the golf couse, the area had heavy rain if that matters.

it sounds like the settings for the alarm have been changed.

I did do a search om this topic. What I was reading wasn't the problem I was having. They were talkign about the car being in Passive mode with automaticly set the for for. Including locking the doors.

My car is is not even locking the doors. The lights will flash, but no honking.

ShoeMike what do you mean as far as the alram setting might have been changed?

If the power lock switch inside got wet would that be causing the problem. The windows were open a little.

you can set the security system to a few different levels.
how to set them and what the settings are, is in the owners manual.
re-set the system to the way you want,
if that doesn`t work it may be a mechanical issue.

I fianlly got tothe bottom of the problem. Since the window were down slighty the rain made it way into the power lock switch on the door panel and worked its way on to the connections cause the light to flash. I removed the switchs and blew them out with compressed air put some dieletric grese on the connections. I am guessing that the water was making the connections between the two. I thank you guys for the help maybe some time this problem may a rise for you.
