Default First EFIlive tune!

For the trans.
I just got the program today, but i have been learning the demo for about a month now.
So what i wanted to do is raise the shift points on my trans. just to see what i can do myself.
They were set @
1 -> 2 6000
2 -> 3 6000
3 -> 4 5900

I changed the values in D0910-22 to the correct KMH to match the RPMs.
Changed Part throttle 1-2, 2-3, 3-4, starting @ 81.3 TSP% to the correct KMH to match the RPMs.
Changed the values in D0940, 41, 42, 45, 46, 47 to 6200 and D0950, 51, 52 to 6000.

I just did this to see how the program works.
Is there any tables i am missing to change? Please name them, and how to go about correcting them.

Thank you

KMMG

since you raised the shift points you will probably have to up the rev limiter a little or you may end up hitting the limiter a little between shifts. Honestly before I would change the shift points I would reduce torque management and things like that. You aren't going to gain much of anything changing the shift points. If you need any help just give me a shout. I've done quite a few cars now. It's easy once you get the hang of it..

Thanks,
I did raise the rev limiter to 6250.
The reason i raised the shift points was because i wanted to learn something. Tuning the trans seems to be the "easy" part of tuning, i have not touched the engine yet in "tune mode" i have in "scan mode"

have you done anything with torque management? That will make a huge differance. Don't delete it all out but just reduce it. I also changed the shift speeds "how quick it shifts" and that firmed up the shift alot on my vette.

If you want I can send you a copy of my sisters tune from her 98 Z28 that I done so you can compare the stock settings to the upgraded settings. I can't remember the table off hand but I can fire up the laptop and look and send you the file. My email is mvvette69@yahoo.com

Im kind of a noobon tunes as well... But, if I am reading it right, you have it shifting at 6200 and the rev limiter at 6250? I know that will not be enough gap.. I believe mine is at 200rpm between shift and rev limiter..

I'll take care of that also.

Just make sure you save each tune and label them correctly so you can load it back up if the tune you just loaded is a failure. I have done that a few times.

I STILL cant get my cold start up tune working properly. It still dies after a 4 secs.

I have mine shifting at 6600 and rev limiter at 6800 by the way. Even on the spray I dont hit the rev limiter. But, I have a vacum modulated stage V FLT trans as well..
