accidents happen,
it`s not quite as embarrassing as running a 14 second quarter mile.

I laughed at some guy in a Volkswagon doing that once, then I did it on my last trip to the track.

It was pretty embarrassing...

well i did a burnout in reverse after backing into the water box beat that lol. i was too worried about line lock and we were waiting 20 mins for track clean up on a 90 degree day. needless to say i felt like a DUMBASS...definitely humbling. clearly that guy was a track newb...**** happens, learn then move on.

I would love to see if he has a red mark on his fore head from hitting the stearing wheel.

My buddy did the same thing in his mustang his first time to the track but at least he was running consistant 13.1s. It was a test and tune and he said that the track guys were being dicks and he got nervous and forgot to shift into a foward gear. Another guy I hang out with that races says he does it at least once a season just getting nervous and over looking it.

Th GT is suppose to run what it ran...The Trans AM was not suppose to be in reverse....I'd so the reverse launch is more embarrassing...by far...

ha ha ha .. been there! I relied on the "track dude" to back me into the water without me hitting the wall. I had issues with this dude not paying attention to my tires being wet before. I can't see all that well at night through my tinted windows. Anyway .. first attemp .. dry, try it again. After I finally get his attention, he backs me up again. Frustrated at "track dude", I never put her back in D. Got TONS of advice from the fans hanging out around the water box ..
