Porting will definitely help it breathe better up top, especially with your CID. I would say porting is a must with your setup.

"the intake not being able to feed the engine up top"

compared to what? a Victor Jr carb setup?

part of the draw of the FAST is the added flow at the top end.

it sure as hell outflows the ls1 and ls6.

it should flow enough for your setup stock...but as with anything there ARE gains to be seen with porting for MORE flow.

with your setup...it would be foolish to NOT port it

As long as your fuel situation is under control, I think the FAST really wakes up once you get higher in the RPM range. Mine is ported (obviously my cid is much less than yours) and pulls very hard from about 3,500+ RPM's. Didn't lose anything down low either...

+1 for porting it...

^^^I don't think he realized you already own the 90mm FAST. Obviously, if that's the case, get the 90 ported...lol.

90's and 92's are identical minus the TB opening, don't waste your money on a 92.

porting is a must. i ported mine myself and my H/C/I/stock bottom end pulled hard up to 7000rpm. power didn't start to fall off until ~6800. portwork is worth every penny you pay or every second you spend doing it, which ever route you take...
