Question Another Header Question?

What headers are you guys running and what ground problems do you have. I was looking at the pacesetters and the jet hot's because I don't want to fork out the cash for the Kooks. Any advantages, or disadvantages. Also I hear the Hookers (jethot) were tuned to the LT1. Any truth to that? I will be running my GMMG behind it.

I have FLP long tubes, I love them, thick flanges, great ceramic coating, I can actually touch my spark plugs with a wrench and with headers bolted on still.

I have got coated Hooker super-comps and I haven't had any problems. While you're at it, you might check into OTVC wires and locking header bolts. The stage 8 locking bolts are what I use, once again no problems. Thunder Racing sells OTVC Taylor wire kits for a little over $100. Just a couple of things to look at to save potential headaches in the long-run since you're going to be right there anyway.

yea make sure you get locking header bolts and a header with a thick flange. Also I got some Percy's dead soft aluminum header gaskets, havent leaked since installed.
