1986 el camino with 6.0 need trans help!!
I have a 86 camino. I have a friend who crashed his truck, I think its an 04/05
model. Its a chevy 2500HD with the 6.0 . Will any 97/02 T/A or camaro trans bolt up to this motor with no problems (T-56) I can get this motor for $$1,200.00 But don't want it if I can't put a 6 speed behind it. If It will work, I will post pic's this weekend of the conversion. Thanks all.

I been doing some reading on here and some folks say
that some 6.0 have different cranks (longer). How do you
know what year models to stay away from?? This is the
problem I don't want to run into. THANKS
