low oil light!??
my low oil light has come on and stayed on for several months now but i check my oil regular and it is always full of oil!! anyone have this problem before or have any advice.. im guessing it's just a bad sensor. if so does anyone know what sensor it is?

No, it screws into the side of the oil pan - just the low oil level indicator. Illuminates the light when you're about 2 quarts low. Newest GM PN I have is 12603782.

I have changed a few out, starting with GM 3.8 v6's and on to LT1's and then the LS. It is a float that screws into the side of the pan, A lot of time they will start to leak through the center of the sensor where the connector is.
