Bottle in spare tire area - what if I get a flat tire?
A bit of a stupid question probably but... what if I get a punctured tire and I don't have any spare tire in the car?
Do I need to carry a can of "fix a flat" in the car? Do I also need a small compressor or is fix a flat enough on itself? Do I need to keep my jack in the car or can I just remove it (for weight loss)? Please explain, I've never used fix a flat or anything like that before.

If you DD the car, and you have no other means on transportation, i would put the bottle somewhere else and keep the spare. Just my .02. I don't drive the car everyday, so I don't need the spare or jack, or the back seats for that matter, but if I did start driving it everyday, I would put it in.

Carry a cell phone and have good friends. If you don't want to ditch your spare put the bottle somewhere else.
I've got mine back there, I don't have a jack or spare. I ditched them before I got nitrous for weight reduction. If I get a flat I'll call one of my friends up and have him/her bring it to me. But my car doesn't really go on any super long road trip so having someone bring it out to me isnt a big deal.

First thing I did was take all of that rattly crap outta the car. 1 week later I can over an industrial staple. Two giant holes in the tire. Found two woodscrews in a buddys garage and screwd those in and aired it back using a compressor. Screws work well and will hold air.

I DD my car and my bottle is in the spare area. So far i have not gotten a flat(knock on woood) and i've driven on a few long cruises. But my plan is to call someone and tell them to bring my spare and jack.
