I just got some good info today from a very good source on mids vs lts on a stock 96 lt1 a4 with 3.23s.He bought the car with mac mids,he had a best time of 9.17 1/8 mile,after about 4 trips to the track and several runs.He installed pacesetter lts about a month ago,with the matching y,his 1st pass was 8.99 ,and he made several passes with the best of 8.90.I will have to say that pretty good gain in the 1/8,and yea maybye it was better air or track prep,but thats not really a big factor on mild cars.

A lot of cars I heard gain at least 1 MPH on their trap speeds when they go to LTs from mids. Thats on your average street car. No heads/cam.
