Default Will a 200 shot spilt a forged short block?

My mods are in my sig, and have forged shortblock and i am looking to spray a 200 shot. I called a shop and they told me that i couldn't spray that much all at once because it would spilt the block? Anyone else have problems spraying that much? I have an LS6 block too, with a hotwire racetronics kit

This isn't a freaking Ford 302 man! It would take a very uncommon catastrophic event to "split" the block in our cars. People have had success in the past spraying 200 on a stock motor for years. Your forged motor(assuming your pistons and tune is up for it) will be fine.

You need to find a new shop.

will i am thinking that they told me this because they don't want to tune my car, thats what i called them about was to get it tuned for the nitrous.

Just to let you know I sprayed a 200 shot on a 18x,xxx mile 302 for probably 2 years believe it or not I should have never taken that motor out. I sold it in one piece to a buddy of mine did new rings and bearings and is still running it...Your LS1 is nice but dont count out the ole 302....it might be old but its proven....

you picked up 2.5 mph on an 80 shot and you think this shop did a "good" job tuning for you? These guys are clowns dont go back.
I see you have an LME shortblock. Did you ask Brian what it was set up to handle?

Sounds very impressive to say the least, but being a mustang guy, you know all too well this picture for the 302:

Block filler will cure that right up.

Call Bryan at LME and see what he says

I runa 250 shot on my forged LS6 347cid. for three years with no problems at all, and there was a lot of nitrous run threw it to. You will be just fine.

Yea the block is setup for a 300 shot according to Brian when I purchased the block from LME last year. No i picked up like .4 or .5 tenths on a 80 shot, which was last year. The car last year on the motor ran 12.2s and this year it is running 11.69s. So i am hoping to hit 10s with spray. I just don't know how big to go or how to go about spraying it. I have an FJo controller, i just not sure how big i want to go and how i want to spray the car exactly. Any help would be appreciated.
