Cig lighter delete cover?
Where can I buy a cover (on line), for the lighter that has the 'no smoking' symbol on.
It involves removing the lighter, and cliping the cover in. Anyone seen these??
Thanks...

Simple really. I did a crude job because its all hidden under the dash. Pop open your garage remote... on the circuit board, under the button that you press to open the door, you will see where they have soldered in two wires for the button. Easy way to test you have the correct ones is to bridge a wire between them and see if it opens the garage door. When you find the ones that work.. soulder on a wire from one post to a crimp connector that will fit on the back of your cig lighter. On the other post, soulder another wire and run it to the other connection on the cig lighter. Inside the lighter you'll see a metal clamp that will hold the lighter down while it gets hot.. just bend it back a little bit with pliers so it doesnt hold the lighter anymore. Bingo. When you push the lighter all the way in, it acts like a button and completes the circuit, bypassing the button on the remote control, opening your garage door. I used some spare speaker wire I had laying around to do this. I just lay the garage door opener on the tranny tunnel under the dash and it works fine.

This needs pics and a complete write-up for adding it to a sticky
Edit: Also, your avatar is disturbing.

Personally I like these.
I have the Satin eject. One day I will have the car back together and will have pics. Great quality though.
