Has to be registered. Don't think you need a motorcycle endorsement. And I would doubt you need insurance.

anything more than 49cc and you need insurance and it has to be tagged. ofcourse it if isnt tagged, it cant be on public roads. all laws apply including DUI and DWS

Gator is correct except you don't need insurance on any motorcycle in the state of Florida. If you have lien against the scooter your lienholder may require you to have insurance but not the state of Florida. I got into accident recently on my scooter (125cc Yamaha) with no motorcycle endorsement which required me to go to court. I ended up having to pay 285 bucks in court costs but I could have faced a much larger fine amongst other things.

Tag for Public roadway use. A Motorcycle Endorsement on your Driver's License is required if it is 50cc's or greater.

Skateboard, Bike, Run, Walk, Skip, or catch a ride with a friend.
Positives=keep you in shape(not that you are out of shape), No worrying about parking, and you save even more gas(even though the scooter is great on gas).
Negatives=You still have to pay for the sucker(usually they are around $1500-$2000 new), Great on gas but you are still paying for it, and it's probably going to be hard to get a date unless you already have a girl LOL.
If you get one you have to do a photoshoot and post the pics.
I'm just messing by the way. I think you can def get some good use out of a scooter.
I'm serious about the shoot though.
