Default knock sensor
i have seen people recommend lt4 knock sensors. i was just woundering if i need them for lt headers, and lt4 hotcam kit. and if so were can i get them?

I think you're referring to the LT4 knock module.

Yup, and basically yes its needed, aftermarket valvetrain, cam, and/or headers will create false knock.
