I have Taylors and have no problems, but it seems hit or miss (if you read that thread).

do any companies make wires that you don't have to cut to fit? I wish they would just make assembled wires for OTVC...

I just run stock AC delcos in my car... seems to run fine so far (about a year and a half). but i feel like a giant hoosier because i'm using wires to hold them down and ****. I really would want the OTVC but I don't want to mess with the cutting to fit part...

Its not hard to cut them to fit, just take your time and make sure they are all crimped good.

Same here. I have checked them in the dark and all that. I've never had any problems with them. The other day, someone mentioned to me that Taylor had a big recall on some of their stuff. Wonder if this could be why so many people are having problems with them. I had a set on my LT1 truck, too, but my power steering pump pulley ruined those after a month or so of having them I just put the old MSDs back on there and didn't have any problems. The only reason I got the Taylors then was for the header swap while I was already there.

Where did you hear that there was a recall on Taylor items? If there is, I would send them back even if they werent bad just to be sure... You never know.

But if the wires were bad and arcing all over the place the car would run like trash... And trash isnt the word that comes to mind when I drive it...

I was BSing with my old roommate the other day and that's what he said. I'm not sure when this was, but it might be worth checking into if its legit. I doubt he's blowing smoke, he's not a ricer guy or anything like that.
