Believe it or not it was only 388 CI (or 383). Not sure what heads he was using.

Yeah that motor had lots of crazy stuff in it. Mainly the plywood throttle body spacers, those were trick! Eric Bradley did the heads, afr castings.

If I remember right he only did 138mph once at an event, and for some reason they were saying the clock read wrong?? If I am not mistaken he usually traps in the 132 range. Ed Wright's setup is very similiar (using LT4 topend) and he is in the 132 mph range as well running 9.9x.

Lol, no.

He has countless 136-138mph passes. Your memory has blurred his passes at the GMHTP F-body race in the hot summer months (High DA) with his average passes. He ran many 9.8 and 9.9 passes when the weather was a nice 1-500ft DA. That was stock ported LT1 intake and heads.

Rick's is a pump gas capable motor too, though he ran race gas for consistency. Under 12:1 compression. Has been run on pump gas and made just a little more power. Car is also over 3400lbs, porky to be running at this level.

I believe Ed's is like 14:1.

Dave, what did he ever do with his intake, I wouldn't mind having it
Whats he doing now, these days anyway?

Ed's car might be 14:1 comp, but its still street legal, along with LT4 H/I.

I saw it up forsale about 1 year and a half back or so.He was selling the heads and intake as a package for cheap(I had already ordered my heads at the time )

I think this is simular to the one he had
