Cleaning the Grunge from my Tan seats....
I got a new car with tan seats, they are in good shape, and they are tan leather...
They have black grime in the creases....
If I take leather cleaner and a toothbrush I can scrub it clean, just takes a lot of work...
I've dealt with leather alot, but I've never seen it so nasty. Its not stained, just nasty.
Should I try Saddle Soap? Or something different?

Tuff Stuff Foaming Carpet Cleaner and a Microfiber cloth. The foam will lift the dirt out of the seats. Wipe off with a microfiber cloth. Then treat with conditioner of your choice.

Hmm.. lets put it this way. When I bought my WS6, my leather seats were almost black.
I took an all purprose degreaser cleaner and diluted it in water, and used a scrub brush on my seats. They are now light gray!
So for me, use an all purpose cleaner, and a scrub brush. After you scrub the dirt out have a towel handy to pick up the loose dirt.
Oh yeah make sure you put conditioner on your seats afterwards. After you clean them they wont look shiny or anything and will be untreated.

no, steel wool as in the "Double zero" very fine steel wool. this works great and i used it for years detailing cars until my supplier turned me onto those "mr. clean magic sponges" or a knock off brand of the likes, these work great at cleaning all the grunge and grime from the grain of the leather.
after using the cleaner of your liking and wiping it down, i use an air gun attachment with a compressor to blow all the junk from the cracks and dry it, works great
