In the pic below is my car and my dumbass looking antenna. Has anyone ever put a shorty antenna on a Firebird before, and if so please give me sources. Thanks in advance!

use the search button, enter BitViper antenna, and have a ball.

You would be crazy to do way with a power antenna a put on a fixed mast one...short or not. If you dont want it up and listen to CDs or XM like I do...just unplug it with it down.

But at any rate if you want one of the short ones you will have to swap out the entire assembly for a fixed mast unit first. AND if you want to do that I will trade you one and buy you a shorty antenna for your power one assuming it works like its supposed to.

I wired mine to a switch, so i can turn it on and off as i please. I didn't think about unplugging it but thats what i would have done if i thought about it.
