Default new look to my front bumper...

ok so i got tired of looking at the holes in the front bumper that holds on the stock grill, so i covered them but for some reason forgot the one in the middle of camaro.lol..tell me what u guys think?

i had my painter do the same before he painted it. i think it looks great. i put some small mesh in there and it stands out nicely. good job.

yeah it looks way much better than having the holes sticking out like a sore thumb.....i did all this in 1 saturday....i did kinda good job for my dad being a frame man/body man...

well if all you did was bondo it, the bondo is gonna crack and call off. thats not the correct way to do it.

well at the moment its still standing strong =) ....and still hitting the bottom of the bumper while driving up and down driveways..

i hope thats atleast a puddy coat or glaze just with a red hardner, if not then i would be ETREMELY carefull with it or it will come out.

have u ever done any sort of body work? if so its pretty all u need is something behind the holes to cover the bondo from falling through the holes and lay down a good layer and sand it down till its smooth..it not that really hard to do at all, my friend who wa helping me out that day new what to do...

nah, its on pretty good, i even hit the bumper with my hand to make sure it wont crack and it was all ok...

That looks fine to me man. Unless you mean that you wanted him to get some melted plastic or something in there. The bondo should hold fine for a long time as long as it is the right kind of bondo that is.

i could have melted like a plastic peice behind the holes but decided not to...and the bondo is the correct one..got it from my dads shop..and has been holding fine...

3m tpo (two part epoxy), then puddy coat is usaully the best it looks good dont get me wrong not trying to bash or anything. tpo is a plastic repair, and puddy coat or glazes are more flexible better for plastics that can be flexed. not saying it wont hold but generly not the best way to do it.
