Default diagnostic trouble codes

hey what up fellas. i recently plugged in my hypertech on my car and pulled up these codes. i checked on this site, http://www.aa1car.com/trouble-codes/ , and this is what it came up with...

P0463: fuel level sensor circuit high input
P1626: anti-theft system fuel enable circuit (passkey error)

so does anyone know how to fix these problems and how much can i get a fuel level sensor at the dealer?

the anti theft code is because your ignition is going out, either the tumbler or the wiring is damaged. as for the fuel level thing, try checking all the grounds and making sure everything is right. and as for the price, you got to call

Fuel level sensor changes resistance based on fuel level. When fuel tank is full, Sensor resistance is high. PCM monitors changes on signal circut to determine fuel level. This information is sent to fuel guage.

If PCM senses fuel level signal voltage greater than 2.9 volts, DTC P0463 sets.

And as for the p1626 I need more info, Dose your car start?

yeah my car starts every day. its my DD. the problem is that fuel needle on my instrument panel doesn't take an accurate reading of the fuel. when the car is on the needle stays at the bottom, it doesn't move.

Yeah sounds like the sender died. You could get a replacement pump and sender from gmpartsdirect.com.

There is a thread on here for making a trap door to access your fuel pump without droping the tank. I don't have the part number for the sender.

I would call parts stores around to find a better price.
