Got my car tuned - still a shaky idle
Well I finally got my Madtuner PCM in yesterday. It was nice to have the lower idle, no SES light and a little more power. But it seems my car is still a little too shaky at idle. I thought the tune would smooth it out. I mean this is my first V8 car I have owned, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't this shaky from the factory. What are some things to check that would cause it. First off, I see/hear no vacuum leaks at all.

When i got my tune from ION my little shakey Lt1 went away, mine was NEVER too bad but it was there....I try to keep my car fully maintained.some of the shakey idle can be attributed to a dirty throttle body and such...our injectors suck from the factory, how new/clean is your fuel filter?
Lastly, our cars are not as young as they were and like most things that get old they get the shakes!

Try ohm testing your injectors. Several hard to find problems are injector related, especially a rough idle.

It's not a BAD shake, honestly i'm probably making it sound worse than it is, but it's still there. I replaced the fuel filter probably 10k miles ago.
I will test the injectors today when I get a chance

I figured out my problem. I laughed so hard when I saw it. When had my transmission pulled out, I looked up at the intake manifold and found that one of my EGR blockoff plates was upside down from when I installed headers! The whole time there has been a leak in the intake manifold about the size of a dime. I fixed it and now the car idles smooth as silk.
