Default LSX Install

Finally installing the LSX.. Problems.. The LS2 timing cover doesn't even come close to bolting up. External reluctor wheel needs a bracket to be made for pick up. Even the windage tray was giving me trouble! Oh well I have some pics I'll post up soon. The old motor is out and I'm going to pull the heads, pushing a little water. It will be up for sale soon, after inspection and new head gaskets.

I'm excited to get the LSx running!!! It seems to be a GREAT block, I see it working well. I want a 7 before winter.

Hmmm, my LS2 cover bolted right up to my LSX block. The rear cover and that oil galley plug was a PITA however. I used a Moroso pan and the windage tray was fine.

Congrats on the new engine and hope to see you hit those 7's!!

I'm still drooling over the under the hood pics of the old setup. Pretty ridiculous, lol. I LOVE it. Good luck getting that thing together, and keep us posted!
