Advice needed for next step on my TT C5
I have a 99 A4. Stock motor and tranny. I bought the car with the following mods. Stage 3 TTi twin T28's FMIC. Car currently has full stock exhaust W/cats.
Install and Tuning was done at Anger Management in Jersey years ago. I haven't dyno'd yet but they claim about 425 RWHP. I personally think a lil less with stock exhaust. Question is:
What is my next step ON A BUDGET for more horsepower?
This is what I am planning on doing and just want to know if I'm on the right track.
Remove Cats, add test pipes and straight pipes out the back. ( with or w/o X pipe?)
Add Snow's H20 Meth injection.
Raise boost from 7lbs (has spring) to 10lbs with a manual boost controller.
Re-tune (using EFI Live)
Considering:
6 L heads. ( which was the best casting numbers to use? 317???) and stock or built 6L heads??
FI cam (which one?)
Am I on the right track? or?

#317's are an inexpensive way to drop compression a hair to allow you to run more boost. 10psi is fine on a good tune, but make sure the heads have good valve springs on them. Might want to look into a better cam for your application, anything in the upper 220's, or low 230's if it's a driver.
