Default My first new truck

I've never had a NEW vehicle before. My wife usually gets the new vehicles since I'm more worried about her getting somewhere without problems, but on this particular day she told me it was my turn and I wasn't going to argue with her. I know ya'll see these everyday everywhere, but I'm excited to have a new truck. It's still stock, but not for too much longer. Here ya'll go:

Nice truck man, its the same thing with me, my 335i was the first NEW car I think I have ever bought my whole life. My Silverado I traded in my old truck but it was still 1 year old and it was a trade in with low miles. Its always great driving home in a 100% new vehicle

Nice man post up some interior pics - from what I remember they're pretty nice these days in the new Sierras and Silverados. Congrats.

Any reason you bought a GMC instead of a Tundra?

Very nice! I really like the NNBS Sierras. You got the best color too. You should check out www.performancetrucks.net. You can use your LS1Tech screename too.

Congratulations! I've been looking at the new Sierra's myself, I think they look great and definitely look better than the Silverado.

Thanks for the compliments guys. As far as the Tundra, I don't like the looks of it. I'm actually a Chevy guy, but this was one of those "We know a guy" kinda deals. I think the GMC looks more aggressive than the Chevy's do, but I would've taken either one. I'll get some interior pics tomorrow for the fellas that wanted to see it and I'll get some of the engine. It's the 5.3 with 243 heads. Guess their putting those heads on everything now.

Aside from the powertrain, the Tundra is a piece of ****, for lack of better words. The interior is butt ugly, the frame twists like a twizzler, and the tailgate falls off under the weight of a grown man. Toyota spent 5 billion on the Tundra/Sequoia only to be an utter failure. How many do you see on the road? I've seen less then 5 around these parts. The sales figures back this up as well.

I take that back. If i was in the market for a truck i would get an SRT10 ram. It's not like i'm ever going to tow anything.

I'm in the same boat, just picked up a Trailblazer. Taking advantage of the GM Employee Discount, they're still doing it where I'm at. Congrats on the BRAND NEW TRUCK

Thanks for the heads up, already researched and the biggest stain it will ever see is towing my 99 TA around. If it does, that's what the warrenty is for
