Well I'm supposed to be racing my cousin's friends mustang from a dig and a roll this coming weekend, and supposedly its "Fast". His mods include Cai,4.11's,tb,LT headers,x-pipe and a chip its a 5spd. And my mods are Lid,S3,Magnaflow Exhaust and its a 6spd. What could be the outcome?

If you get a good jump and row your gears you shouldn't have too much of a problem. I have a buddy with a 2000 SS and he was pulling on a gt with similar mods to your cousins with no problem. All my friend had was a cutout & lid. It would of got worse but he was having clutch issues. He has it on vid too and I was the camera guy

I'm not sure on the year of the gt my friend ran but it's in the 01-03 year.

Does he have drag radials to go with those gears? And how well can he launch and drive it? I would say that you will win the roll pull. My friend has an 04 gt with a KB supercharger on it, along with 3:73's and drag radials. Without my spray its really close from a roll, I even pull a bit in 4th, but from a dig he spanks me hard due to me just having street tires, and him being an excellent driver with drag radials.

he's probably at consistent mid/low 13's if he can drive.

He's on street tires and so am I and I've never seen him race before.

There is no way a gt will beat an LS1 . I run gt with my silverado VORTEC MAX and beat them all the time its not even worth pulling out the CAMARO for me

With the ability to hit twelves, given traction... you'll pull him up top, but watch out from a dig if he has any sort of tire.

yeah the ls1 is unbeatable. i saw a gt with 1 million horsepower race a stock ls1 and the gt still lost.

the long tubes must do alot to those cars then cause i know of two stock 5speed gt's and neither put down more than 235.
i dont see 50 horsepower to the wheels with his mods. but hey let not thread highjack and make a argument out of this

edit- the one that made the most was with exhaust and intake and it was 233whp thought they bnoth were stock but was wrong
