3.42 swap from 2.73's now hitting rev limiter??
I put a complete rear out of an M6. Gears are 3.42 obviously. Car runs great, but it seems to be hitting the rev limiter. I used my handheld divinnci tuner and just corrected for the gears. Speedo is correct. I left the rest of the tuning at stock. I'm not spinning and it seems to bounce off the rev limiter at 6K. Doesn't matter it I nail it from 50 to 90 it will act up. And I know I'm not spinning at 70mph...lol. And yes that stupid ASR is off. Any ideas???

Have you been to the track and ran with the new gears? I have a friend that wants to do that, but undecided between 3.42's or 3.73's. It's cheaper to just buy a whole rearend than installing 3.73's though. He also has 2.73's.

No I haven't run at the track yet hopefully soon. But I am very very happy with the way she moves out now. This is a daily driver for me so I think the 3.73's would be too much gear for me. You can definitely tell she got gears. 110% satisfied with the swap! Best mod yet 4 me.

I am currently running the #1 program on my handheld (Vinci / crane power max) which is stock cam, with minor bolts. I changed the axel ratio to 3.42. It shifts at 6200 rather then with 2.73's it shifted at 5900.
