Guaging Interest: New Exhaust System For Our Cars
Hi all, I am not a sales person or a vendor of any sort, but I do live near a very well known exhaust shop. This exhaust shop sells kits for many late model cars, including corvette, camaro, mustang, challenger, ect. They have been around for a long time and I'm about to contact them to make an exhaust for my 06 impala ss. They do not make a exhaust for our cars specificaly, but I'm wondering if I can get them to use my car as a model to put forth a production unit. They offer both aluminized and stainless with lots of tips and muffler styles to choose from. Most of there kits are modular so you can pick out what you want. I am also going to talk to them about a new style crossover pipe that does not connect at the rear header and about a new header setup but I want to go to them with a list of real interests what people want to buy. Please just tell me what your future plans are for, how much for a aluminzed or stainless system you are looking to spend, I know how much the quiet magnaflow system goes for, if your looking for a entire header setup with new crossover pipe and dp, with or without cat, ect.
Again I have no affiliation with this company but their products are sold in the 2 biggest mail order catalogs out there plus many of our favorite vendors, thanks guys,
Steve

Im completely interested. I have not bought a magnaflow because i dont think it is worth the money. No options and very quiet. I really want a different crossover for sure, esspecialy one that doesnt connect to the rear manifold. Headers are iffy right now depends on pricing. For me crossover pipe, downpipe, 3" exhaust. optional E-cutouts.

Yep, I'm in for a full exhaust (headers back) IF the power is reasonable. (When they first introduced shorties on the ob2 LT1 fbodies they were making like 7 crank hp for $600) Anyhow, I have been very disappointed with how little is available, even for cat-back systems. I'd like an aluminized cat back (I have a Hogan 3" dp), and I don't care if it's single or dual outlet. For the headers/crossover, stainless would be great but I live in Texas so something that I can have Jet Hot Coated will be fine.

Then you have the Impalla SS clubs and Monte Carlo SS clubs.
We really have to get everyone behind this even the buick LaX guys.

I'm in!! Would love a custom hi-perf exhaust. At least you other LS4 owners have choices. Try finding an aftermarket exhaust for a 2008 LaX Super. Maybe the Impala SS or Monte SS MagnaFlow would fit? Not worth getting rid of stock stainless to find out.
Oh yah, my wish list is the same as Panther 427's.
