Default how do i remove the grill?

I wanna pull the front bowtie off and paint it. How do I get it off the grille or remove the grill?

You can get the Bowtie off with fishing line. Our you can just get an overlay
for the bowtie

A heat gun or even a hair dryer will make short work of that.

can i pull the grill? I dont want to go threw the hassle of stripping off all the tape from the grill and emblem.

Sure you can. On the top black piece there are 2 clip/rivet things (remove them completely) and then just pull it out. It will take some effort as there are 10 clips that hold it into place, but it should just pop out.

The SS is pretty popular there are probably more people who have made that change than haven't haha. That was the first thing I did when I got my car 2 years ago.

You can only buy an inlay for the bowtie (no overlays that fit right), and they're only available at Grafxwerks.com up in Toronto. Ryan does excellent work...but it's gonna cost ya!
