Default help with replacing antifreeze/coolant

i am adding royal purple's purple ice to my coolant. I talked to tech support and they said to drain out about 2 pints of coolant, add the purple ice, than fill back up with straight water. I have two questions though. Where is the resoviar drain and should i use water from my house hose? or like filtered water?

Filter water. Water from the tap still contains more minerals which a quart of wont really hurt, but over time the mineral content could add up.

Distilled water from the store is best, comes in the gallon jugs.
