Little slip in my tranny @ 54,445 miles
Example A
Well i was in the neighborhood turning the car around at the beginnng of a street i shift the car in
reverse tap the throttle slightly and had a little slip going backwads then proceeded to shift to drive
tap the throttle slightly and i had the same slip going forward : (
Example B
About 30minutes later i was sitn in traffic driving to work
(u know, stop go stop go) and i tap the throttle slightly then experience the same slip again : (
Example A has happened 3x and Example B has happened 3x
I hate to think that its time to replace it.... however my 2K6 Impala SS is still under warranty......
Any ideas???
Thanx in Advance, Stay Blessed

I say take it to the dealer since you have warranty and have them look at it, Trannys in the LS4's are weak, what I heard that the 05-06 trannys are bad, and the 07-09 seems better.

Get it fixed under warranty. Only problem is that it's so sporadic right now, if you can't make it happen on-demand, they're going to do NOTHING. However, at least you'll have it on your service record so that if it DOES fail shortly after your warranty is up, they'll be more inclined to give you a break on the repair.
