Intense fwi cel
Hey, new guy here. I've been lurking for quite awhile just haven't posted.
I installed an Intense Racing FWI on my wife's 06 GXP the other night and today she noticed a cel. Haven't read it yet, I'm assuming it will be some kind of lean code. Just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this with this or any other intake install. I'm gonna try to reset the pcm and see if it comes back for now. BTW you guys have a great website here, very informative.

I didn't set a light when I messed with the intake, but when you drastically change the way the air hits the MAF the MAF readings change, and your tune gets out of whack. Reseting the ECM should help it learn around the change quicker. Just because it happens to everyone, you should probably check the connectors you unplugged and make sure they are OK.

I'll try to get some up, really not too visually impressive though, just some black tubing. Trying to improve gas mileage mostly.
I think I got it fixed, i removed the mass air meter screen when I installed the intake initially, I went ahead and put it back in and cleaned the mass air meter and then reset the pcm and drove it around for awhile, so far so good.
