To all who have roller rockers!!!
OK so I just picked up some scorpion 1.8 rockers and have been told different thing about changing the push rods some say yes you need to and others say no and then some say go to a shorter 7.35'' PR not the stock 7.4''. Please help me with this Thanks

I talked to one member a while back about it. He used stock length but Oil restricted ones. Can't remember the reasoning, but stock ones should be fine.

1.8 or 1.85
The way I see it, the pushrod needs to stay the same length because you're increasing lift on the valve side of the rocker. The pushrod side doesn't change. If I understand correctly.
So changing the length of the pushrod would defeat the purpose of a higher rocker arm ratio.
Maybe someone more knowledgeable will chime in.

Stay with the stock length of 7.400" I was going to go with the Scorpions or Yella Terra's but found a deal on SLP's for 200.00. The SLP's are 1.85 ratio though. I also went with oil restricted pushrods to prevent valve float. I have no float to date... I do suggest getting at least OR pushrods if you are not going to change the springs. This is even more important on aluminum roller rockers as they weigh less so there would be more chance to get valve float. Hope this helps. Here is a link to some OR pushrods.
