the gxp vs my old regal gs
hey guys just thought id share a few crappy cell phone videos with you..lol the gxp (pre exhaust cutout) vs my brother in laws rgal gs (it used to be mine but after breaking a valve spring i didnt have the time or money or space to fix it, so i gave it to him lol, and he got it up and running again)
the rgal has a l32 series 3 3800 with the gen v blower. intake, intense ecu, 3inch exhaust, ss autochrome knock off headers, drilled 160 t stat, a 104s. and a 3.4 pulley (he is still seeing a few degrees of kr, but wanted a run anyway)...races are from 1st gear roll

i just used the tap shift to keep it in 1st for the initial take off, otherwise it was in drive the whole time. mods on the gxp at the time where pvc hai, downpipe, no cat, no res.

First vid was kind of blurry but the second one was perfect. The GXP took off! Now let your wife, or friend drive the Mustang while you drive the GXP and lets see what happens. (no disrespect to your wife of course.)

oh dont worry i just have to get tires and then we will be doing some low 1st gear rolls or even some digs...tried getting on my stang today messing with her in the gxp and roasted 1st 2nd and a little into 3rd...being on stock bald dry rotted tires sucks( car came with the crappy tires when i bought it)...time for some 275/40/17 nitto 555rs, im getting tired of these 2nd gear rolls i keep giving people lol, i wanna really feel the 410s .....when the time comes i will be in the stang and she will be in her gxp , she has gotten used to the tq steer and the tap shift so she is confident to say the least.

That is my regal in the vids. It would have been a much better race if i didnt have 5 degrees of kr. im probably loosing close to 30 hp, give or take a few. I had raced the gxp before with the stock 3.8 sc pulley, same mods and 0kr, and me and the gxp were dead even till 100mph when we shut down. one race i hit the rev limitter from 1st to 2nd and she got me about a car by 100mph.
The gxp is faster now that its hp tunned with the cutout. But i should be getting my regal tunned to get rid of the kr. And i will also be adding 1.9 moddified rockers, n*tb with lq4 maf. so a rematch with better vids is to come. should be a very good run.

im assuming the gxp started to pull on the top end, at least it should of if it had any type of exhaust done to it, l67/l32s dont trap that high.

He doesnt have a tune yet. he is running the intence pcm. it was fine with the stock 3.8 pulley, but he now has kr. he will be getting a dhp tune done pretty soon.
