Thanks everyone for the help with the other threads.

The car went to the dealer and they're diagnosing it as internal transmission problems. It has been acting funky lately, with random TCS engagement and Service Stabilitrak lights.

She was going to get traded in today also, looks like she doesn't want to go!

I might wait until early next year now. We'll see though, hopefully it doesn't take them too long to get it squared away.

I should have seen this coming.

I found an old post when I was referring to our trannies going out.

Thanks for the reassurance. I'm not a weekend dragstrip warrior by any means, but I do an occasional 20 mph roll romp every now and then.

I'm at 30xxx now and have GM warranty till 12/14 with Buick roadside assistance.

I sold mine with 64700 with the trans still in good shape with nice firm shifts. A couple shudders in downshifting a couple times but no real issues.

It's a good thing you're trading the car. They're most likely going to put a remanufactured trans that may not even have the LS4 gear train. Accordingto Dave @ TEP, the remans are bascially junk.

The trans failures have little to do with how the cars are treated, as the failures are engineering and quality related. It just sucks that we drive around with these ticking time-bombs.

Sorry to hear about the issues. I heard through Tony that you were looking at trading it in and were selling some of the go fast parts off the car. He asked me if I wanted them and I passed because I don't run the car often enough to mess with it. Good luck with everything.

I'm not generally fans of remans in general. I replace CVT trannies at work on a weekly basis. Sometimes the remans are worse the the original failed trannies

I had no idea you were Garlen's partner. I'd give you a badass mustache discount (Tony mentioned how badass it is) lol

It's actually gone now. Those things get annoying after a while. It was grown for Halloween to be a part of my costume.
