dealer installed new engine, went and looked at the car today.
1.scratches all over front fenders
2.top engine mount is not connected tightly
3.transmission dipstick tube is bent across and down rendering it useless
4.battery tie down on the side is now missing
5.the two silver pipes in front of exhaust manifold are bent to hell.
6. transmission sounds like **** when started.

Take it back, don't accept it back until its right. No one bats 1.000, but an engine replacement isn't that hard of a job

thank you guys, i was suppose to pick it up saturday but did not have time. i did go over there today because my car is in the lot and they are closed and checked it out and noticed all of this. when i go to pick it up tomorrow, im gonna talk to them

so the dealer fixed everything but on my way home i realized the hud no longer works at all, so i have to drop it off monday morning so they can fix that lol

i watched them repair everything in front of me, then they had me inspect the rest of the car in front of them to make sure everything was alright and because i know the car pretty good. they diddnt replace those lines that are bent but they will later.

oh btw. the reason for all the problems... i was casually talking to mechanic and eventually he said this "although its not the gm recommened way, i lifted the engine out of the top"
he diddnt drop the engine from the bottom!

why wouldnt you take it out threw the bottom? its way faster especially on a front wheel drive car all you have to do us unbolt the front suspension and fuel lines pretty much
