Default Cam Swap

Aside from a matching stall what else is needed for a cam swap?
Im keeping DOD disabled.

Just plotting out the trans build with dave and the cam with lunati.

much beyond the 224 duration area is when the convertor will need changed. for a more mild grind you'll find it may not need touched but that doesn't mean you wont benefit from it either.

you'll want lifters, pushrods, timing set, timing chain dampener, all applicable gaskets & seals, etc. DavidGXP posted a list in another thread which will be of great help to you.

as far as required mods? headers would be suggested and a set of worked heads would only help as well. neither are technically required but i would do them anyways. LS1/6 intake would really start to shine as well.

It might be time for a cam swap sticky. I am no writer and could use some help if i was to attempt it.
I could provid part numbers, and links with a few pics.

I like it David ,

Im going to port the ls4 intake manifold and throttle body. Also grabbing a set of dth with the group buy. Just going accumulate some parts and take the car off the road for a week or two this summer.
