So. My hubs are bad again. It's both this time. I don't get this ****. I used GM parts for the first 3 replacements, and aftermarket for the 4th. Now both on the car are bad again. Traction control steps in when turning at low to moderate speeds and the ABS light is on again.
Are there any better than stock hub options out there? This is driving me nutz. i hate cars

Hmm that is a good point. Problem is the traction control makes u faster in the corners in this car if its working right.
Is there a place i can have some bullet proof hubs made to order? It has to be possible.

Your probably going to need them. With that being said mine need to be replaced and the car has 49k. I guess that's one good reason about being under warranty. I had to do 1 along with a tie rod on my gfs 2005 monte at 120k. I could live with that 49K is pretty ridiculous

Another point, if you are seeing the ABS light are you sure it isn't just the wheel speed sensor? Or are you hearing a noise or vibration from the bearings?

Yes, evrything is getting torqued to spec and loctited. And yes, I'm sure those 20s aren't helping. And the brakes are fairly heavy. I needed my first set of hubs before I did any of the mods though...
Aren't the speed sensor and hub 1 assembly, so even if it is just the sensor I'm SOL yet again. I do feel some vibration from passenger side.
On a side note @nmp0098 what MAF are you running? Do you have a power number with that cam?

In the end it doesn’t matter whether it’s just a sensor or if the bearings are getting chewed up, but they would have different root causes. Try to get a hub with Timken bearings if you can.
No power numbers, but my weight and trap speed put me around 410-420 at the crank.
