Nope they will lower the amount I owe them and then I have 3 months to pay it off.

I guess I don't understand. Why don't you pony up and put a transmission in it? You'd have no problem selling it, at least for what you owe on it. Probably more.

Previous owner had a shop rebuild my transmission to stock specs. It was like just a hair over 1,000.
